Ring Video Doorbells My Take On This Amazing Product

On Friday, May 19, 2023, I received my first purchase of the Amazon’s Ring Video Doorbell 2nd generation; for my elderly mother, who needs protection when she is alone, while I am away at work.  After installation was completed and tested, I decided to give my review on this amazing device.

Based on my experience with this device, I have the ability to view and to answer the door while I’m away, and when I am at home, I can see who is knocking on the door, before I have a chance to answer who it is.  1080p provides sharp and detailed images when recording or capturing images when it is triggered by motion settings.  Based on advertisement, the video doorbell can record conversations from several feet away; I myself however,  did not experience that feature and I don’t feel the need to do so; especially if I am living in an apartment

building.  With the doorbell, I purchased the Ring Chime Pro wifi extender that I plugged in the hallway near the door.  

With the Ring Chime Pro wifi extender, it picks up strong signals and works well with Alexa and Echo Dot.  To Conclude, as a first time user of the video doorbell camera, I am impressed with it’s features and what it can do.  Below is a video clip of how the video doorbell looks after installing it, (without drilling) to the front door with the anti-theft doorbell mount, Kilimar
